PARTICIPATION OF CADRE LARVA MONITORING SAVIOR AS EFFORT TO IMPROVE LARVA FREE RATE (LFR) IN THE PUBLIC HEALTH CENTRE TALANG BETUTU
Abstract
Background: Dengue fever is still a health problem in Indonesia. Based on data from the Annual report Palembang City Health Department 2015 Larva Free Rate Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (LFR- DHF) health care centers of Talang Betutu city of palembang equal to 50.9%. The purpose of this research was to analyze the participation cadre larva monitoring Savior In Larva Free Rate (LFR) in The Public Health Centre Betutu Talang.
Method: It was a descriptive study with qualitative approach. The data collection was done through in-depth interviews to 10 informants consisting of responsible for program of dengue fever at the health center, the village head and cadre larva monitoring savior. It was conducted the content and triangulation (sources, methods, and theory).
Result: The Cadre larva monitoring savior can conclusion that cadre was no empowered and actively participate in efforts to improve the Larva Free Rate (LFR) in The Health Clinic Betutu Talang terms of individual factors (knowledge and motivation) and organizational factors (leadership and management program).
Conclusion: The cadre has not been empowered and actively participate in efforts to improve the Larva Free Rate (LFR) in The Public Health Centre Betutu Talang. Suggestion of this study should coordinate all stakeholders to improve the empowerment and active participation of cadre larva monitoring savior.
